Foxtel, Australia’s largest TV network, approached Brothers and Sisters asking the agency to extend the popular concept they had originally developed for Sky On Demand, starring Joanna Lumley, to promote their new Box Sets channel.
Brothers and Sisters has created and produced the three TV spots for Foxtel Australia using Joanna Lumley to launch their new Box Set channel. In the spots we see Joanna Lumley act as characters in the Sopranos and ‘Wentworth’ Foxtel’s highly rated Australian prison drama. A third spot for Ab Fab will launch in December.
The first two spots of a series go live in Australia this week.
The deal was negotiated through TPF London, who Foxtel work with in the UK for promotions and publicity.
The spots follow a concept Brothers and Sisters created for Sky’s On Demand channel in 2013. Foxtel’s Box Sets channel launched in Australia on 3 Nov, as a new channel dedicated to offering subscribers live and anytime access to some of the most popular programming available from the subscription service.
“Joanna’s box set trailers are a hilarious creative franchise and we are delighted they are going global.” Said Andy Fowler, founder and ECD, Brothers and Sisters.
