iris Appoints John Grant as Chief Strategy Officer

iris has appointed John Grant as Chief Strategy Officer for its global Samsung business. 

Grant, who in a career spanning 30 years has won the IPA effectiveness Grand Prix, co-founded St Luke’s and written best-selling business books (with a 7th book out later this year) has worked with iris on a consultancy basis for 14 years. 

On his new appointment, John Grant said: “After the longest courtship in agency history, iris and I finally decided to become an item. It’s any strategist’s dream job - an amazing opportunity to help iris trailblaze with their relentlessly innovative and ambitious global Samsung client. And builds on the personal friendships and professional rapport forged through over a decade of pitching, planning and plotting futures together.”

In the newly created role, Grant will dedicate his time mainly to creating and converting high impact global opportunities for Samsung – and collaborate with leading iris planning teams around the world to be the catalyst for breakthrough thinking across APAC, Europe and Americas.
