iProspect Hires New Head of Programmatic & Strategy Partner

Waye Blodwell & Gareth Owen join performance marketing agency
Leading digital performance marketing agency, iProspect, has made two additions to its fast growing UK team. Wayne Blodwell joins the agency from Xaxis as Head of Programmatic while Gareth Owen, formerly of 360i takes the position of Strategy Partner. Both roles are new positions that reflect the agency’s commitment to offering clients the specialist expertise to enable them to better exploit the growing complexities of digital performance.
 
As Head of Programmatic, Blodwell will be focused on providing clients with clarity around the fast-evolving technology and processes central to programmatic buying as well as working closely with the Dentsu Aegis trading desk Amnet. Applying his heritage of knowledge and expertise in programmatic, he will work closely with clients to drive better programmatic strategies and data taxonomy to ultimately deliver stronger campaign performance at scale. Blodwell’s role will reach across iProspect UK’s entire client portfolio.
 
Bringing over four years of experience in programmatic, Blodwell is one of the industry’s leading experts in the space. He joins the agency from Group M’s buying company, Xaxis, where he developed programmatic strategies for direct response and brand advertisers across the MediaCom portfolio. Blodwell’s breadth of expertise encompasses both agency and supplier making him a unique talent able to navigate this space to the clients benefit.
 
Commenting on joining iProspect, Blodwell said: “I am excited to be joining an agency that has digital in its DNA. Alongside Blodwell, Owen also joins iProspect in the newly created role of Strategy Partner. Directly responsible for harnessing the agency’s depth of consumer insight to develop high-performance multi-channel strategies that deliver tangible growth, Owen will work with the largest group clients defining the performance strategy through a data lens. Prior to iProspect, Owen was formerly Head of Performance at Dentsu Aegis Network’s 360i as well as holding positions at agencies including Steak and The Search Works.
