IPG Mediabrands Australia has announced a new position at the communications group, head of digital, with Maria Grivas taking the role effective January 1st, 2014.
“Given the speed and directions our businesses are developing, the head of digital position across the Group is a natural addition,” said Henry Tajer, executive chairman of IPG Mediabrands Australia.
“A large part of Maria’s assignment will be to develop an enterprise-wide manifesto for how we engage our clients in the digital ecosystem and how important and effective the many digital platforms are now and into the future for our clients and our businesses, said Tajer.
Prior to her new group role Grivas has been national digital director at communications agency UM Australia after joining the agency in 2011 as digital investment director.
In taking on the new role, Grivas will report to Tajer and continue working with UM on projects and business development.
