INNOCEAN today announced that Angela Zepeda has joined the agency as SVP, Business Development, effective immediately. In this role, Zepeda will be responsible for marketing the agency and overseeing INNOCEAN’s growth plans. She will report directly to Tim Blett, Chief Operating Officer, INNOCEAN USA.

“In the past year, we’ve seen strong growth with current client relationships and in new business,” said Blett. “Angela’s drive, passion, and deep marketing expertise made her the right choice to help build on this momentum.”

With more than 25 years of experience, Zepeda has worked for some of L.A.’s top agencies, including TBWA\Chiat\Day, Team One, Rapp Collins, Doner, Campbell Ewald, and FCB. Most recently, Angela was CEO of Quigley Simpson in Los Angeles, where she oversaw all aspects of the agency—from brand leadership to new business development to operational efficiencies. Before that, Zepeda was CMO of Campbell Ewald-Los Angeles, where she played a key role in growing the agency’s business.

Zepeda’s expertise in the understanding of emotional triggers of women’s retail habits has led her to be hand-selected for various industry conferences including ISSM CONVERGE Conference, the WLN Conference, the M2W Conference in Chicago, and the Marketing to Women Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.

“INNOCEAN is a creative powerhouse, and I knew it was the perfect next step for me,” said Zepeda. “I look forward to sharing the great work going on here at the agency with the marketing community and to opening up new avenues for growth.”
