INDIE Amsterdam Launches Punchy, GIF-Inspired Spot for YoungCapital

YoungCapital, the Netherlands’ largest employment agency for young talent, is launching its new campaign today. The campaign has been conceived by INDIE Amsterdam and directed by Paul Geusebroek, who is well-known from the video clip of the hit single Panda by Desiigner ft. Kayne West.

Suzanne van der Cammen, Head of Marketing & Communications at YoungCapital, said: "YoungCapital is an employment agency with a clear target group: young talent. We firmly believe that they are indispensable for every company. They keep companies fresh and dynamic. YoungCapital is a young company itself and we see the extent to which work and private life intertwine. Work has become a key part of young people’s lives. The commercial clearly shows that."

Rogier de Bruin and Emilio de Haan, Creative Directors INDIE Amsterdam commented: "We wanted to prevent it from being a run-of-the-mill youth campaign with teenagers going wild at swimming pool parties. We wanted it to be less polished, more real and honest. Paul Geusebroek was the perfect director to help us achieve that aim. We shot on 16mm film using a Nishika camera. It’s a camera dating from the 1980s that has four lenses. It creates a jumpy image that reminds you a little of internet GIFs. We use analogue media to give it a very contemporary and digital feel."
