House Gospel Choir to Perform at Creative Circle 2019

At the Troxy on Thursday, May 9th, the Creative Circle will introduce the UK’s advertising industry to the choir that house built.

Over the past five years House Gospel Choir have played festivals all over the UK, including Glastonbury, Bestival and British Summertime Hyde Park and have been a part of sessions and live performances with homegrown and international talent such as Annie Mac, Candi Staton, MNEK, Tom Jones, Beverley Knight, Jessie Ware, Loyle Carner, Ghetts, Gregory Porter, Stormzy, Labrinth, Gorgon City, Jax Jones & Kylie Minogue to name a few. 

Founded on a dance floor in 2011 by creative producer and vocalist, Natalie Maddix, the choir brings together outstanding singers who are all passionate about music, performance, and are dedicated to putting on a great show. HGC Shows are backed by a full house band and DJ, Dezy Bongo, along with percussion which creates an effortless live fusion of the biggest house and gospel tunes.

Alongside festival appearances, the Choir have sold out headline London shows at Jazz Café, Islington Assembly Hall and most recently KOKO with rave reviews. Director and producer Isaac ‘Icey’ Tomiczek has said, “House Gospel Choir represent a living, breathing, sparkling, shape cutting, stunning, brilliant and beautifully harmonious vision of Britain’s past, present and future”.

This year, HGC will be sponsored by We Are Theodore, and the event is set out to be Creative Circle’s biggest celebration of UK creatives. All profits from the event will go to support the Creative Circle Foundation Charity, which helps to address the lack of diversity found within the UK Creative Departments.
