Shanah has nearly two decades of experience as a producer, spanning commercial, music video, TV and film projects

Bi-coastal production company Honor Society has added Shanah Blevins as Executive Producer of their Los Angeles office. Blevins will be the first West Coast EP for the production company since launching in December 2015, expanding its West Coast presence and rounding out the company’s fully women-led team. She has nearly two decades of experience as a producer, spanning commercial, music video, TV and film projects. With a hands-on approach while on set, Blevins has produced campaigns for such major clients as Honda, Sprint, Verizon, Burger King, Toyota, Nike, Ad Council, McDonald’s, Google and HP, among countless others. She has also collaborated with top production companies including Chelsea Pictures, Moxie Pictures, 1st Ave Machine, PrettyBird and Elastic. Having shot in nearly every state and on six of the seven continents, Blevins brings a passion for collaboration to every project, forging lasting relationships with directors, producers and creatives.

Notes Honor Society Managing Director/Executive Producer Megan Kelly, “Having worked with Shanah before on multiple projects, it’s truly impressive to see how well she works with directors and creatives and how she gets the best out of everyone. She has an in-depth knowledge of the process on and off the set and has built an impressive array of creative relationships over the years. I’m thrilled to have her join Honor Society and continue our growth on the West Coast.”

Adds Blevins, “I’m excited about taking on this new role and using my experience to head the West Coast office of this fast growing and innovative production company and to work with this talented group of directors. I admire and respect the dynamic creative environment Megan has forged with Honor Society and I’m excited to work together to take this company to the next level.”

Oklahoma-born Blevins made her way out to Los Angeles at the ripe age of 19 and after college quickly rolled up her sleeves in the world of music videos. She landed a gig at Palomar Pictures, where she quickly climbed her way up from Production Assistant to Producer, working on videos for such iconic artists as Michael Jackson, Prince, Green Day and Neil Young. She then transitioned to the commercial side of production branching out as a freelance producer. Her frequent repeat collaborations with top directorial talent on commercial productions have led to a wide range of feature film, documentary and TV projects that have further immersed Blevins into the Los Angeles filmmaking landscape.
