Klyne today premieres the mesmerising video for their acclaimed new single Don’t Stop, out now via Because Music. The video is directed by acclaimed choreographer and film maker Holly Blakey (Florence and the Machine, Jungle, Coldplay, Young Fathers) of Knucklehead.
Blakey commented: "Becky, the female dancer in the video is caught masturbating and then seduces her spoiler before killing him, and returning to work. It’s sexy but it’s more about strength. Becky is so powerful, robust, in charge. We’re the voyeurs, I feel like she doesn’t give a shit about us.”
Klyne are two 22 year olds - producer Ferdous Dehzad and singer Nick Klein. The pair first met at school in the small city of Helmond in the Netherlands, before reconnecting at the dawn of their twenties and beginning work on their masterful fusion of Klein’s searing, soulful voice and Dehzad’s love of electronic music culture, including Erol Alkan, Soulwax and Tiga (the latter of which signed the producer - in the guise of TRACE7000 - to his Turbo Recordings label). Don’t Stop follows Klyne’s critically acclaimed debut Paralyzed EP for Aesop, as well as their maiden remix, a rework of Disclosure’s Omen feat. Sam Smith.
