Guns or Knives is Europe’s Most Awarded Activations Agency

From a group of 81 finalists, Irish agency Guns or Knives has emerged as the most awarded agency in Europe at the IMC European Awards for Integrated Marketing Communications 2016. 

The creative agency won an award in all 14 of the categories in which it was nominated, putting it ahead of large network agencies.

In total, the agency won three gold, nine silver and two bronze awards. Five of the awards, including one gold, were presented for Hailo’s Drive For Equality campaign, four (including one gold) for Orchard Thieves’ Launch campaign, three silvers for Hailo’s 3rd Birthday, and one gold and one silver for Heineken’s It's Your Call Rugby World Cup campaign. 

The IMC awards follow a string of wins at Irish award shows earlier this year including the ICAD and APMC awards. 

Having also been nominated recently for Image’s Businesswoman of the year 2016, managing director Zara Flynn, comments: “It feels really amazing. I am so proud of the whole team at Guns or Knives on our achievements this year. They are hybrid creatives who are deeply ambitious and contribute everything they have got to see a campaign succeed, from pitching to development, to execution and impact. We've managed to scale to the top very quickly and the trick is to now stay there. The first round selection for the IMC European awards were made by a jury panel consisting of 45 leading industry professionals across the continent. The second round of judging, comprised of IMCC Council member representatives and took place in Naples on 23rd September. This year’s winners were announced across Europe on Thursday 24th November.
