Google Chromebooks Names Arts & Letters Creative Co. Lead Creative Agency
Richmond-based creative agency, Arts & Letters Creative Co. has been named agency of record for Google Chromebooks, tasked with handling all strategic and creative marketing duties for Google’s laptop business.
Google has been Arts & Letters’ flagship client since the shop opened its doors, initiated by a creative partnership with Google Creative Lab that has encompassed a range of projects.
One such project was with the Chromebooks team this past holiday season – a campaign introducing consumers to the new Chromebooks.
Now, as Chromebooks’ lead agency, Arts & Letters will focus on enhancing the brand’s overall impact above and below the line and will work in partnership with Chromebooks’ other agencies to fully integrate its message across all platforms.
In addition to taking on the Chromebooks business - part of Google’s Platforms and Ecosystems Product Area which includes Chromebooks, Chrome and Google Play - Arts &Letters continues its relationship as a creative partner to the Google Creative Lab.
Aude Gandon, Chromebooks' Global Brand Director, remarks, “Arts & Letters understands our brand, our business and our infrastructure. They’ve already proven themselves a seamless and agile creative partner, and they were the perfect choice to entrust with our marketing efforts as we move towards raising the bar of creative excellence across all of our brands."
Arts & Letters Creative Co. was founded in 2017 by industry veteran, Charles Hodges, to serve as an independent creative partner to modern clients. Based in Richmond, VA, Arts & Letters runs off the belief that agencies must create ideas the same way tech companies prototype – quickly, collaboratively and focused on the audience and user.
