Agency to adopt a fresh and creative way to hire new talent
Geometry Global Japan launched a new website aimed at attracting new people to the agency. The website comes in direct response to the challenges that the industry faces in recruiting the best and the brightest. Since Geometry Global Japan started in 2013, it has continuously grown, adding 5 new significant clients (15% year on year) in 2016 alone. The domain http://ppgg.jp stands for Pan Pan Geometry Global Japan (Pan Pan in Japanese means overflowing), indicating the website reflects the business getting busier than ever, hence the company needs more people.

Commenting on the launch of the website, Masato Mitsudera, Executive Creative Director, said, “As the company has continued to grow in terms of business, people and culture, we wanted a way to talk to people more directly, let them learn about what makes our culture unique and our work fun. The purpose of this website is to recruit new hires, but before that we want to introduce ourselves first. Our work and office is just overflowing, ‘pan pan’, in a positive way. So we took advantage of this and created the domain ‘PPGG’ (Pan Pan Geometry Global). Of course, ‘pan pan’ implies our shared passion and enthusiasm too.”

On the design front, Mitsudera said that from the copy to the illustrations, his team tried to visualize a uniquely human company instead of a ‘mechanical, cold’ image that many people associate with international organizations. “We have a good mixture of various cultures and are still very young. Our unique atmosphere and culture make Geometry Global Japan fun and hardworking, so we used hand illustrations to convey the energy and fun vibe around the office. We are looking forward to working with passionate and interesting people”, he added.
