Final Cut's Joe Guest Wins Gold at British Arrows Craft Awards
At Monday's British Arrows Craft Awards, Joe Guest won big, accepting the gold award for Best Edit for Lurpak ‘Adventure Awaits’. In a taste of sweet success, Joe shared the night with his longtime collaborator, Dougal Wilson, who won for best director for the Lurpak advert, as well. The lively Lurpak cut has already been recognised across many awards shows, including best edit at the LIA Awards, the Grand Prix at The Ciclope Festival, a place as one of the APA 50, and a host of awards in Cannes.
Joe Guest commented to LBB ‘It feels awesome – it’s always the bridesmaid, never the bride! Dougal always shoots amazing film so it’s what not to put in which is the challenge. I knew the first one was amazing and when we were working on the second one I knew it was better because there was so much nice stuff.’
