National Coding Week launches next week (Sept 17th) and is packed with free digital-learning events to help build people’s confidence and skills in technology.
To support the initiative, Feed, one of the world’s fastest growing independent digital agencies, and Full Stack of Pancakes, a collective of enthusiastic trainee developers, both with offices in Manchester, have teamed up to tackle the perceived complexity of learning code.
Their free and accessible workshops for adults, be they students, graduates or those looking to change job, will run in Manchester every day throughout the week. Mentors will be on hand to answer questions too.
“I urge anyone wanting to future-proof their career to come along. Coders are fundamental to the booming digital sector. We are thrilled to team up with FSP to inspire the next generation of specialists. Participants will learn and play with the building blocks of web design. They will leave having built their first web page, understood where a career in coding can take them and have a pathway to get there.” James Hill, General Manager, Feed Agency Manchester
The goal is to give attendees applicable new skills, a boosted confidence and enthusiasm to continue learning code.
