New Creative Director, Director of New Business, Account Supervisor and Integrated Project Manager join the agency
Today FCB West announced the appointment of Bruno Nakano as Creative Director, Jordan Wells as Director of New Business, Laura Feder as Account Supervisor and Frankie Donlon as Integrated Project Manager. These dynamic new hires further advance the San Francisco team, building on the momentum of the launch of this fall’s Clorox master brand film “Clean Matters” and the agency’s London International Award-winning “Circles,” a viral global spot for Levi’s.

Bruno Nakano joins the agency as Creative Director from R/GA New York, where he served as Senior Art Director, working on the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8. Prior to this, he was named one of the Top 10 Art Directors Worldwide by the Cannes Lions Report during his time at Leo Burnett Iberia, and made the list of 15 Ones to Watch at the One Show Young Guns while at Leo Burnett Sydney. Nakano has won over 100 international awards, including several coveted Cannes Lions, CLIOs, D&ADs and One Show Pencils for his work on iconic global brands such as McDonald’s, Samsung, Fiat, Unilever and Mercedes-Benz.

On Nakano’s appointment, FCB West EVP/CCO Karin Onsager-Birch commented, “Bruno brings with him an infectious and insatiable thirst for doing great work. We were lucky to land him as the go-to mentor for all our art directors and designers, and the visual guide across all clients as we continue to raise the bar of our work.”

Also joining FCB West is VP, Director of New Business, Jordan Wells. A digital marketing and business development veteran, Wells joins the agency from Extractable, where he held a similar position. Prior to Extractable, he handled business development for Publicis’ Rosetta, where he built and supported relationships with clients such as Sony, American Express, GoPro and Charles Schwab. He also helped to establish and grow the Los Angeles presence for LEVEL (acquired by Rosetta), working with brands including Apple, Warner Bros. and Toyota.

The agency also welcomes Account Supervisor Laura Feder and Integrated Project Manager Frankie Donlon. Feder joins FCB West following two years at Grey New York, where she worked across their Clairol, Wella and Revlon accounts. Before Grey, she worked at mcgarrybowen New York on Intel and Verizon Wireless. At FCB West, she will be dedicated to Dockers, Smokey Bear (Ad Council) and new business efforts. Donlon joins the agency after working as a Digital Producer at Hill Holliday for clients such as Liberty Mutual, John Hancock, Brigham and Women and Capella University.

“2017 has been a phenomenal year for FCB West. And yet we aspire to so much more,” says FCB West CEO Joe Oh. “The addition of these four amazingly talented and lovely people is an investment we are making as a business and a culture to turn those aspirations into reality.”
