Sam Luchini has joined FCB as SVP, Executive Creative Director. In this role, Sam will report directly to Liz Taylor, chief creative officer of FCB Chicago, and will lead all creative work for the Michelob ULTRA account.

Sam is a creative autodidact, whose work has been awarded at a variety of advertising festivals including, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio and the Webby Awards. He was also ranked in the top 10 most awarded art directors of the world at the One Show in 2016. Sam’s work has been nominated for an Emmy Award and is featured in the permanent collections of the MOMA and the Dalí Museum.

Sam joins FCB from Goodby Silverstein & Partners (GS&P) where he served as a creative director across a variety of accounts including Adobe, Cisco, Frito-Lay, Dalí Museum, Dreyer’s and Google. During his time at GS&P, Sam was responsible for leading multiple groundbreaking campaigns such as Dreams of Dalí, a virtual-reality experience for the Dalí Museum; “Dream On,” a campaign for the 25th anniversary of Adobe Photoshop; “DORITOS Rainbows,” a campaign in support of the It Gets Better Project; and the creation of Tostitos’ “Party Safe Bag,” a bag of chips that doubles as a breathalyzer and calls you an Uber if you’ve been drinking.

Most recently, Sam, alongside his partner, led the teams at GS&P to win two of its largest accounts: BMW and Pepsi.

“Sam is a true visionary leader, a nontraditional thinker, whose work ingeniously melds technology with creativity to break and redefine how we perceive and experience brands,” says Liz Taylor, FCB Chicago’s Chief Creative Officer. “I’m beyond excited to have Sam join us at FCB, and to see how he will continue to defy category conventions on Michelob ULTRA.”
