Mark Junwirth becomes Chief Technology Officer and FCB-X hired Mike Brown as SVP, Group Creative Director

FCB Chicago announces that Mark Jungwirth will now take on the new role of Chief Technology Officer in addition to his current CFO role.

Additionally, the agency’s experiential marketing practice FCB-X hired Mike Brown as SVP, Group Creative Director. He will report directly to Chief Creative Officer Liz Taylor and will oversee all creative work for the agency’s experiential clients.

Mark Jungwirth will be expanding his responsibilities to include the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on top of his current role as CFO.

In this new position, Mark will have the added responsibilities of guiding the agency’s technology capabilities. Specifically, he will work closely with a core group of leaders as they define the agency’s long-term strategy of where technology should play a role to help with agency productivity while automating tasks. In addition, he will oversee the technology investment and implementation across all areas of the agency.

Mark’s appointment – and the creation of this new CTO role – reflects FCB Chicago’s commitment to being at the forefront of technology – especially as the agency determines the best investments that will strategically position both the agency and clients’ businesses ahead of technology trends.

Mike Brown has joined FCB-X as SVP, Group Creative Director this month.

In his new role, Mike will report directly to Liz Taylor, Chief Creative Officer, and will oversee all creative work for the agency’s experiential clients. Inspired by visionaries and outliers in architecture, design and technology, Mike believes in the power of great storytelling to positively impact the world. From digital to physical, pop-up to permanent, interactive installations to multi-channel brand experiences, he aspires to create work that provokes the imagination, sparks engagement, elevates meaning, perpetuates conversations and creates change.

With over 20 years of experience working across culture and commerce, his clients have included Chanel, Bulgari, Isaac Mizrahi, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Adidas Y-3, Uniqlo, CNN, Verizon, Major League Baseball and Coca-Cola. Mike joins FCB from Superfly, the creators of Bonnaroo and Outsidelands. Prior to Superfly, he worked at a variety of agencies including The Rockwell Group, Radical Media, Ogilvy, Grey, Momentum and Wasserman Media.
