This week, the TPG Soundtracks’ Grammys Party brought us an immersive audio-visual journey (created by Fake Love) hosted by The Points Guy to promote the platform’s top 2018 destinations: Morocco, Iceland, India and Mexico City.
Brought to life by creative agency Fake Love, visitors leaped from one destination to the next without setting foot on a plane, with a taste of music and culture from each location in an entirely live performance.
The augmented experience offered exploration through music, backed up by a soundtrack consisting of Grammy-nominated artists and an intimate performance by Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist, Lil Uzi Vert.
Every 30-minutes, the entire room took an adventure to a new location, as wrap-around projections change and jumped to a new culture through mesmerising visuals curated to each destination. In Kaleidoscopic-like imagery and art, new colours took shape in the room and music swelled the room, matching each culture -- inspiring and moving people from one place to another, as music does.
Fake Love acted as a strategic partner conceptualising the event, including ideation, branding, positioning and execution of the physical production, including the animations, graphic and visuals. The Points Guy, if you’re unfamiliar, is a digital platform renowned worldwide for all points, miles and travel related tips.
