eurobest, Europe’s leading creative Festival, has announced the first round of inspirational speakers, with more star names to follow.

Exploration and experimentation are at the heart of eurobest, which moves to a different European city each year. In 2016, the Festival will be held in the world-famous Italian capital, Rome, from 30 November – 2 December.

Europe’s brightest creative minds will bring enlivening discussion to the stage, including: BBC UX guru, David Bailey; fintech start-up investor, Jess Williamson; and Dr Charles Spence, Experimental Psychologist, Oxford University, who will discuss experiential brand experiences.

Inspired by Rome’s cultural finesse, eurobest will be a sensory explosion of flavour, aroma, sights and sounds brought to life through interactive workshops. The Festival explores progressive themes and provides a forum for open debate, outlined in the eurobest Manifesto. Catherine Hope, Associate Creative Director, Naked Communications will lead a session on emotional memory; while Jules Chalkley, CCO, BMB and Juliet Haygarth, CEO, BMB will explore how branded communications can direct the mood of a nation, following the EU Referendum.

For women creatives based across Europe, eurobest is a development opportunity not to be missed. Fierce female industry talent will fill the stages, discussing gender equality, sharing career insights and imparting knowledge. Speakers include: #WomenNotObjects campaigner Madonna Badger, Chief Creative Officer & Founder, Badger & Winters; Monica Moro, General Creative Director McCann Spain; and Isobar’s Chief Experience Officer Cheyney Robinson.

“We’re delighted to announce the speakers who’ll bring a diverse set of stories and experiences to share with our eurobest community who attend from across Europe,” said Louise Benson, Festival Director of eurobest. “The Festival is an open environment for discussion and interaction and that’s what makes it so unique.”

Palazzo Barberini, a stunning 17th Century Baroque palace, will be transformed into a venue showcasing world-class creativity, with more beautiful venues now announced. Alongside the Festival content programme, the coveted eurobest awards will be judged and awarded onsite, setting the benchmark of creative excellence across Europe.

eurobest speakers have been carefully programmed to represent diversity across the industry. Further names include: Riccardo Fregoso, Executive Creative Director, McCann Paris; Ioana Filip, Executive Creative Director, MRM/McCann Romania; Rob Curran, Head of User Experience, Wunderman; Hannah Blake, innovation Director, MEC; Tom Pursey, Founder, Flying Objects; Harri Pasanen, Strategist, N2 Helsinki; Philip Ellis, Writer & Journalist; Balder Onarheim, Co-Founder CINC, CEO Plato, Associate Professor DTU; Nicky Bullard, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, MRM Meteorite.
