Edelman Names Celevel Butler MD, Integrated Brand in Singapore

Edelman, a leading global communications marketing firm, today announced the hiring of Celevel Butler as managing director, Integrated Brand in Singapore, effective immediately.

Butler’s announcement follows a string of senior hires across Edelman’s global network in the integrated brand communications space, including Mark Renshaw, global chair of the Brand practice, and Rupen Desai, vice chairman, APACMEA. Butler reports to Amanda Goh, CEO of Edelman Singapore, as well as Desai.

As managing director, Integrated Brand, Butler will have immediate responsibility for the vision, strategy and operations of Edelman Singapore’s Consumer practice and partner with the firm’s digital, strategic planning and creative teams to further Edelman Singapore’s integrated marketing offer.

Clients are already working with us on brand solutions that are earned and digital at their core,” said Amanda Goh, CEO of Edelman Singapore. “Celevel’s commitment to client innovation and creativity coupled with her experience in leading award-winning integrated brand teams will further fast track our communications marketing mandate with clients.”

With two decades of award-winning work in advertising, creative and brand marketing, Butler was most recently general manager of Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore. Over her seven-year tenure as general manager, she transformed the Singapore operation into a regional hub, leading 120 consultants and expanded Saatchi & Saatchi’s client portfolio into consumer products, tourism, banking and finance, insurance and automotive. Butler was most recently recognised at Cannes and Spikes Asia for her work for Scoot’s “Inspiring Spirit” Integrated and PR campaign.
