23rd Golden Drum is proud and honoured to present the newest member of the Golden Drum Hall of Fame Dušan Drakalski one of the brightest shining stars of Balkan creativity. He is considered to be one of the most creative and most experienced communication specialists in the Balkans who managed to create award-winning and memorable campaigns in this extremely challenging region, accepting one of the most prestigious awards Titanium Lion at 60th Cannes Lions. Throughout his career he always strived for extremely high standards in his work and believes that passion must exist within every piece. Dušan’s work has been recognized at Cannes, Eurobest, New York Festival, Epica, Golden Drum, Moscow International Advertising Festival and many other regional award shows.
Dušan started his career in 1997 working for S Team Bates Saatchi & Saatchi. Afterwards he worked as a Regional Creative Director in New Moment New Ideas Company. His home is in equal measure his native Skopje as well as Belgrade, Sofia, Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Ljubljana. He practically lives on his motorbike, condensing distances and problems while polishing ideas and channelling inspiration. So it will not be a surprise when he comes to the 23rd Golden Drum on his precious steel steed.
Dušan Drakalski is joining other esteemed members of the Hall of fame: Adrian Boțan, Jure Apih, Farid Chehab, Ivan Chimburov, Michael Conrad, Jan Mariusz Demner, Meta Dobnikar, Ami Hasan, Jiri Mikeš, Juli Nemes, Günseli Ocakoğlu, Milka Pogliani, Ulrich Proeschel, Daniel Ružička, Dragan Sakan, Juraj Vaculik, Vital Verlič, Darek Zatorski and Jarek Ziebinski.
Moreover, Dušan Drakalski will also take over the Golden Drum stage as a speaker. He will talk about Time, Dreams, Plans and some Sketches.
