Doner has unveiled its 'Live A Fuller Life' campaign with Optegra, the
UK’s largest group of dedicated ophthalmic (eye) hospitals.
The campaign, which launched on 21st September during National Eye Health Week, draws on real life experiences from patients who have undergone a variety of procedures including laser eye surgery, lens replacement and cataract treatment.
The campaign will run across ITV, VoD as well as online display advertising and social media. It has been shot in a non-traditional commercial style and documents each patient’s emotive journey to “Living a fuller life”, thanks to their treatment from Optegra. The campaign highlights Optegra’s full spectrum of eye health care and is aimed at audiences undergoing cataract, lens replacement and laser treatments.
Jenna Hall, Account Director, Doner added: “The
challenge was to re-position Optegra from one dominant eye surgery procedure to
their true strength of offering the full spectrum of eye health care in their
world-class dedicated hospitals. We chose to show the transformative power of
real patients who had undergone the range of treatments offered and show how
they are truly living up to the brand promise of living fuller lives and seeing
everything in glorious high definition.”
Jemma Durbridge, Optegra UK Marketing Manager said: “With the powerful imagery and personal stories, this is a highly emotive advertising campaign which Optegra is proud to be launching. We know from our years caring for patients the power of personal endorsement, and so by using a selection of our patients, we feel we have captured the essence of our work – providing the very best care and treatment for every type of eye condition, under one roof, in our dedicated eye hospitals - enabling patients to live a fuller life.”
