Director Thomas James Signs to OB Management

OB Management has signed Thomas James to their independent roster for commercials, content and music videos. Thomas is a born storyteller with a dark, brooding and cinematic aesthetic. Renowned in the world of music videos, Thomas has created stand-out promos for artists such as Young Fathers, Paloma Faith, Bring Me The Horizon, Fat White Family, Nothing But Thieves and Hurts.

His filmmaking ambition is apparent throughout all of his work. Constantly pushing boundaries, adhering to tell a wider story with imagination and a lurid sensibility. Whether that be a beautifully haunting promo for Nothing But Thieves set against the backdrop of the incoming end times, or a surreal depiction of grief for Hurts, through a mirror-image narrative.

Recently, Thomas was commissioned by Jonas Akerlund to write and direct a short film for the famed director’s new absinthe brand ‘Ditch’. The film depicts a twisted and depraved tale, typical of his style and cinematic allegiances.
