Site is latest launch in the rollout of nearly 100 new Honda platforms across all product divisions

Honda has announced the launch of a new UK web presence for its motorcycle division, which has been created in collaboration with global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi.

The new UK platform is the latest launch in the rollout of nearly 100 new Honda sites across all product divisions and 22 European markets.

DigitasLBi’s blended team of strategy, creative, media, analytics and user experience experts has worked with Honda to develop a web presence which aims to engage both hardcore bike enthusiasts with clear preferences and new bikers looking to purchase their first bike.

The site features a number of tools to help customers compare and choose from the 50-plus bikes in the Honda range, including a bike selector that points out which of the range people can ride, depending on the type of licence they hold.

The fully responsive platform, which has a bold look and feel, features imagery which brings to life the thrill of biking. At the same time, the site retains a friendly, approachable tone, reflecting Honda’s ‘Warm Engineering’ mantra.

Yetunde Smith, Manager – Marketing Communications at Honda UK, said: “We wanted the new platform to be as attractive to established bikers as it is to those who are considering buying their first bike. Working with DigitasLBi, we’ve created a web presence which should appeal to both audiences and help them choose the right bike for them.”

Simon Gill, Chief Creative Officer UK at DigitasLBi, added: “We’re thrilled to see UK Motorbikes on the new Honda Europe web platform. The whole user experience represents a dedication to the joy of simplicity and the performance of this iconic biking brand, and it’s packed full of lovely little crafted touches.”
