Created by We Are Pi, the SkyFest orchestra is the latest addition to Desperados’ global marketing campaign
Desperados teamed up with world-renowned party producers elrow and iconic DJs Jackmaster, Honey Dijon and Paco Osuna, to launch SkyFest – a multi-sensory music experience that raised festivals to new heights. Created by We Are Pi and hosted in the mountainous landscape of La Seu, Spain, Desperados SkyFest brought to life an epic music and light show experience – the world's first Hot Air Balloon Electronic Light Orchestra.
Over 1500 partygoers from around the world were greeted by a sea of lasers that cut through night sky, illuminating a fleet of colossal hot air balloons as they emerged from the darkness. Top DJs played to the crowd in sync with the light show, where every balloon was an instrument and every pilot a musician, if you missed out on SkyFest, get a taste of the full experience here.
“Playing from a hot air balloon and looking down over the crowd was crazy. A real pinch yourself moment. It was surreal to perform at such a unique festival with so many people from all over the world. It was an incredible music experience and one of the reasons I love doing what I do," said Jackmaster.
