The first of a series of Depeche Mode music videos to promote the band’s upcoming album and world tour has launched. Director Timothy Saccenti [@radical media] and Cut+Run Editor Dayn Williams collaborated on the film, which offers a window into the world of the band’s time in the recording studio.
Music video and advertising director Timothy Saccenti was asked by Depeche Mode to create a short film documenting their creative process in the studio. After the 4 days of filming at the bands glass-enclosed penthouse studio above New York City, Timothy and editor Williams, previous collaborators on Playstation “Faces”, crafted the black and white music video set to the dark, pulsing track “Angel.” The film was premiered at the bands international press conference in Paris.
The recently released music video immediately resonated with fans and inspired an upcoming video series, which includes acoustic performances of select new songs.
