Dentsu Aegis UK & Ireland CEO Steps Down After Four Years

Tracy De Groose to leave, successor not announced
Dentsu Aegis Network today confirms that Tracy De Groose, is stepping down as UK and Ireland CEO after four years in the role.
 
Giulio Malegori, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network, EMEA, will work with Tracy and the UK&I Leadership team work to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.  A long term successor will be announced shortly.
 
De Groose joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2009, she served as UK CEO for Carat, before being promoted to UK&I CEO in 2014.   Under Tracy’s leadership the business has seen a period of considerable growth and transformation. This has included strategic acquisitions of agencies with digital at their core, helping to further the Group’s strategy of becoming a leading digital economy business.
 
De Groose leaves the UK and Ireland business 4,500 people strong, serving over 800 clients across 23 media, technology, data and creative agencies.
 
Tracy De Groose, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland said: “After eight wonderful years at Dentsu Aegis, I have decided that now is the right time to step down. I have loved every moment of working with this incredibly talented team of people and I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved. Together we have transformed this business, nearly doubled its revenue, and welcomed new agencies and colleagues into the family.”
