Entry window closes at midnight on Friday 4th December

With 2016’s UK Music+Sound Award’s entry window closing at midnight on Friday 4th December, there’s just a short time left to enter.

On their 5th anniversary, The Music+Sound Awards continue to celebrate excellence within the world of music composition, sync and sound design in advertising and the rest of the media.  They champion the inherent value of production music and sound and ensure that the talent involved gets the kudos they deserve.

MD, Emma Maguire, says, “We’re thrilled that once again the music and sound design industries have come together and given their support to put on this event.  Our jury this year is again composed of immensely talented industry figureheads whose phenomenal expertise and experience will make for a superb panel.”

“We’re absolutely passionate about giving the incredible wealth of talent out there their moment in the limelight and feel so satisfied that the Awards are in their fifth year of achieving this.”

Anyone who has worked, in any capacity, on a film, TV or advertising project, broadcast or released between 6th December 2014 and 4th December 2015, that they feel has been significantly enriched by the music or sound is invited to submit their work at www.masawards.com by Friday 4th December.

There are 28 categories in 5 sections: Best Original Composition, Best Sound Design, Best Sync, Best Re-Records + Adaptations and Best Use of Production Music.

The Music+Sound Awards are again proudly supporting Nordoff Robbins, the national music therapy charity, with £5 from each submission and ticket sale going to this life-changing charity.

The Music+Sound Awards will be open for entry until Friday 4th December. As last year, PRS for Music members receive a 15% entry discount.  All entry, jury and category details and competition rules can be found on the awards site.

Once again the music and sound design industries have given their support to this event with sponsorship coming from heavyweights such as Native, Yellow Boat Music, Factory Studios, Yellow Technology, Universal Production Music, Jungle Studios, Scramble, Wave Studios, PRS for Music, SIREN, Imagem and Wave Music.
