Cutters has  announce the addition of new commercial reps. The announcement was made by Megan Dahlman, executive producer for Cutters Los Angeles, and Megan Martinez, director of business development for Cutters in the Midwest.

Effective immediately, the editors from Cutters operations in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo will be represented on the US West Coast by Kevin Batten and Pop-Arts Management, his management and production-consulting firm - and in the U.S. Midwest by Sean Sullivan of Sullivan Creative Management. The rosters for both management companies are formidable: Pop-Arts lists Go Film, Gentleman Scholar, Framestore, Independent Media, Joinery and Native among its clients for the West Coast, while Sullivan represents Tool, Partizan, Framestore, Brand New School, as well as a group of digital production companies such as Jam 3 and Media Monks in the Midwest, to name but a few.

"Representing creative editorial in LA and all along the West Coast is no easy feat," Dahlman said. "We were drawn to Kevin by his reputation and all of his expertise: He has been in this business in many capacities, he is very knowledgeable and well respected, and he knows all the players. Most importantly, he is excited and inspired when it comes to introducing our editors for projects where they are a fit, so we feel this is going to be a winning combination."

"Sean spent about eight years on the account side at some of the world's most successful agencies, and over the past 14 years, he has proven to be one of the industry's most successful reps, spanning every area of creative production,” said Martinez. “Cutters has seen fantastic growth in the past few years and bringing Sean on board to continue to help expose Cutters’ editors to the highest level of work this market has to offer is a very exciting opportunity. I look forward to strengthening our team with this key addition and continuing to build our momentum throughout the Midwest.”
