Creative Circle Announces 2019 Awards Shortlist

Today, the Creative Circle announced the shortlist for the 2019 awards following last week’s Gold round judging. Every company on this Shortlist is a winner and will receive an award at the Creative Circle Ball, taking place at the Troxy on Thursday 9th May.

Work submitted to this year’s awards underwent extreme scrutiny by the Gold Judges. With the industry producing ever-more content, judges were determined only to award the best creative work that would stand the test of time. As a result, only 70 prestigious Gold awards will be presented this year. During their careful debate, Gold Judges also submitted 26 entries into unentered categories where they felt work deserved to be recognised as outstanding in its field. 

In its ongoing effort to support the next generation of young creatives, the 2019 new talent categories were free to enter. Best Up and Coming Commercial Film Director (both Male & Female) and Most Promising Creative Newcomer (both Male & Female) will be announced on the awards night alongside Most Creative Agency, Most Creative Production Company and Most Creative Post Production Company.

We have always sought for the Creative Circle to be hard to win and they definitely put entries through their paces. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm and drive that went into their decision-making process.”
