AMV BBDO wins Most Creative Agency, Nike scoops Champions of Creativity and Riff Raff grabs Most Creative Prod Co 2018 and Gold of Golds double
The winners of the 2018 Creative Circle Awards were announced last night at the Troxy.

Hosted by UK radio legend Edith Bowman, the evening saw all of this year’s Gold, Silver, Bronze, and special prizes awarded in a celebration of the very best work from the UK’s creative community.

This year’s Champions of Creativity prize went to Nike, whilst Wieden + Kennedy, Time Based Arts and Riff Raff Films all picked up Gold of Golds for their work on Nike’s ‘Nothing Beats a Londoner’.

Riff Raff Films also picked up the prize for Most Creative Production Company, whilst MPC London picked up the Most Creative Post Production Company, and AMV BBDO was awarded Most Creative Agency.

Creative Circle President and Joint Chief Creative Officer of Grey London, Vicki Maguire, dedicated the President’s award to the late Jon Daniel, award-winning creative director, designer, author, curator, artist and collector, who sadly passed in October 2017.

This year’s Most Promising Female Creative Team Newcomers award went to Charlotte Mather and Lucy Jones AKA Chaz and Lucy of AMV BBDO, whilst The Most Promising Male Creative Team Newcomer award was won by Jack Snell and Joe Lovett AKA VCCP’s Jack and Joe.

The Best Up and Coming Female Commercial Director award went to Hanna Maria Heidrich, with Ian Pons Jewell walking away with Best Up and Coming Male Commercial Director.

Jeremy Green, Managing Director of Creative Circle, comments: “The work entered to this year’s awards went through some of the toughest rounds of judging we have ever seen at Creative Circle. Last night we celebrated the truly outstanding work produced in the UK over the past year. Now we look forward to helping the next generation of creative talent, 10% of this year’s awards entries have been put towards officially launching the Creative Circle Foundation. We hope this will begin to stimulate greater diversity in the UK creative departments of the future.”

The Creative Circle pledged 10% of all award entry fees and 100% of membership fees to support greater diversity in the creative departments of the future through the Creative Circle Foundation. Continuing a proud tradition, this year’s awards were also attended by dozens of students who had special seats to view the best in UK Creativity.
