After two days of the festival, with about 700 producers and creatives from all over the world meeting, exchanging ideas and celebrating the best work of the year, winners for CICLOPE Festival 2018 were announced on Friday November 9th in an awards ceremony held at Kino International, in the heart of Berlin.
A jury chaired by Lisa Margulis (The Directors Bureau), Ali Brown (Prettybird) and Rupert Reynolds-MacLean (Biscuit Filmworks) chose - from among about 1,000 entries - the best work in 37 categories divided into four sections: BRAND CONTENT / SHORT FORM, BRAND CONTENT / LONG FORM, MUSIC VIDEOS and a SPECIAL SECTION.
More than 100 entries were awarded and three of them received a Grand Prix: “Apple – Welcome home” (directed by Spike Jonze, produced by MJZ and created by TBWA\Media Arts Lab), “Ubisoft – Baptism” (directed by Martin de Thurah, produced by Henry and created by DDB Paris) and “Childish Gambino – This is America” (directed by Hiro Murai and produced by Doomsday Entertaiment).
