Adds Howard Green and Kate Allsop from Grey London and Alice Burton from Y&R London

CHI&Partners has added three new multi-award-winners to its creative department, bringing in Howard Green and Kate Allsop from Grey London and Alice Burton from Y&R London.

At Grey, Allsop was part of the team behind News UK’s ‘Fat Cats’ campaign for The Sunday Times Rich List, which picked up awards including a Gold Lion at Cannes, three D&AD Wood Pencils, three Golds and a Silver at Creative Circle and Gold at the Campaign BIG Awards. Green created Vodafone’s 2015 Christmas campaign ‘Terry The Turkey’ and co-wrote Volvo’s powerful, beautifully shot ‘The Swell’ spot.

Green and Allsop met at Grey having previously worked at agencies including KesselsKramer, The Red Brick Road and Saatchi & Saatchi (Green) and Ogilvy & Mather, Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and BMP DDB (Allsop).

Other famous campaigns in their portfolio include The Sun newspaper’s one-off name change to ‘The Son’, to celebrate the birth of Prince George, which won a Silver at Creative Circle; Red Stripe’s Lion-winning ‘Corner Shop’ stunt ; Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase ‘Assassin’ film which won a Campaign BIG Silver; and Waitrose’s ‘Pinanas’ April Fool’s Day campaign.

Burton joined Y&R in 2014, having previously worked at Fallon. At Y&R she wrote M&S’ widely praised 2016 Christmas campaign ‘Mrs Claus’, winning awards including a Silver Lion at Cannes, and two Golds at Brand Film Festival London. Other notable work she has created includes the BBC’s trail and titles for the Rio Olympics in 2016 – which picked up Silvers at the British Arrows, Clios and Brand Film Festival London.

Burton was listed in Campaign as a Face to Watch in 2015 – and earlier this year made headlines as part of cross-industry project #SHEVotes, which encouraged women to vote in the run-up to the Snap Election.

Joining the creative department, they will work across CHI’s portfolio of clients, helping the agency make famous work for clients including News UK, Argos, McVitie’s, Godiva, British Gas, TalkTalk, Toyota and Lexus.

Micky Tudor, Joint ECD at CHI&Partners, said: “Kate, Alice and Howard are three of the industry’s brightest, most exciting creatives and we couldn’t be prouder to have them join us at CHI. They will contribute enormously – both to our work and our culture.”

Yan Elliott, Joint ECD at CHI&Partners, said: “As we dial up our focus on making famous, culture-penetrating, transformative work for all our clients, Howard, Kate and Alice’s talent, hunger and ambition will be invaluable.”

Other recent creative hirings at CHI&Partners include Dave Bedwood, creative founder of Lean Mean Fighting Machine, who joined in July as a creative partner. The agency also recently brought in James Miller, formerly a lead producer from Facebook’s Creative Shop, to launch its own innovation-focused production company, The Kitchen.
