Chimney has announced the arrival of colourist Vincent Taylor to New York City. Vincent joins Chimney from MPC Shanghai, bringing years of colour grading and cinematography experience.
Prior to joining the world of colour, Vincent was an award-winning cinematographer where he received twelve awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society. This background turned out to be an excellent foundation for understanding lighting and colour and became one of the largest factors to success in working with clients.
Vincent’s distinct ability to translate a client’s needs into a colourful and cinematic aesthetic is precisely what he is known for. In Shanghai, Vincent was specifically helmed by Airbnb China to set the look for their first ever broadcast TVC campaign. Brands like Coca-Cola, Porsche, Mercedes, New Balance, Airbnb, Volkswagen, BMW, Nike, and L’Oreal have called upon Vincent’s talent for their long and short-form content. Since his relocation to New York, Vincent has worked on major brands including MGM, Gillette, Suntrust, The Home Depot, Hershey, Cadillac, Bombay, and Spindrift.
Recently, Vincent set the look for the launch of the newest MGM casino in Springfield. In collaboration with Chimney VFX supervisor Peter Törnestamand, CG supervisor Martin Törnestedt, producer Sabrina Harrison and teams in LA, Chimney brought a bustling ‘casino on wheels’ stocked with neon slot machines, a marching band, dancers and a full-size adult lion to life.
