Filmgraphics has signed Bugsy Riverbank Steel for representation in Australia, New Zealand & Asia, adding to their exciting new roster of award winning directors.
Living up to his name, Bugsy has crafted a distinctive directorial style that combines clever in-camera techniques with seamless visual effects and strong narrative.
Bugsy began directing music videos for artists like Bloc Party, Ellie Goulding and Two Door Cinema Club. It was here that he developed his unique storytelling voice and visual style that lead to commercial campaigns with high profile clients including Toyota, Mitsubishi, BMW and Ikea.
Bugsy’s use of contemporary visual effects and techniques to enhance compelling narrative has made him one of Europe’s most in demand directors.
His keen love of drama and storytelling led him onto directing a raft of short films, including the revered ‘Locked Up’, which picked up several accolades around the world.
