Brand Consulting & Design Firm Landor Opens in Istanbul

Landor, one of the world’s leading strategic brand consulting and design firms, today announced the opening of an office in Istanbul and the appointment of Idil Yenisehirli as Turkey’s country manager to oversee operations. In 2015 Landor is planning to increase its presence in Turkey with a number of new appointments, including senior designers and strategists.

Landor has worked with some of Turkey’s leading companies over the course of 20 years. With several recent campaign launches, the ideal opportunity emerged for Landor to create a permanent base and an enhanced team in Istanbul.

Idil Yenisehirli has been appointed as Turkey’s country manager and will oversee operations. During her 11 years at Landor, Idil has worked across a wide range of industries on multiple branding projects for clients such as Efes, Turkcell, Eczacıbaşı, and Koç Holdings.

The opening of the Istanbul office follows a successful year for the agency in which it launched two major award-winning campaigns for glassware manufacturer, Lâv (formerly Gürallar ArtCraft), and for Turkey’s top raki brand, Yeni Raki. Both campaigns were recognised at this year’s Transform Awards MENA in Dubai, with a silver awarded to Yeni Raki for best brand evolution and a bronze to Lâv for best creative strategy.
