Big Sync Music Singapore Celebrates First Anniversary

The evening's celebrations included intimate sets from Dru Chen and Garden City Movement

Big Sync Music Singapore Celebrates First Anniversary

Big Sync Music recently celebrated the first anniversary of its Singapore office with an intimate music showcase featuring two very different but equally brilliant young emerging acts - Dru Chen and Garden City Movement.  The evening event, which took place at Big Sync’s new offices, during the week of the Music Matters conference, brought together the global music agency’s brand and agency partners, members of the local music community and local media.

Singapore based artist Dru Chen opened the night with a smooth, solo acoustic set showing off his fresh sounding blend of pop, funk and soul.  He was followed by Tel Aviv indie/electronic act, Garden City Movement, who treated guests to a full, live performance of hypnotic, dance floor beats and dreamy vocals.

Big Sync’s country manager, Angel Lee, said:  “We want to thank both acts for performing for us - it really was an incredible evening and we were delighted to be be able to introduce innovative talent to our guests who were blown away by what they heard.  This was Big Sync’s first evening session in our new Singapore office space - hopefully the first of many such events.  Big Sync Singapore has has grown dramatically in our first year of operation, and it was great to give back to the community built around the regional music and advertising industries.  As Big Sync moves into its second year in the region, we expect to showcase more fresh talent with our agency and brand friends.  We are excited about continuing to transform the regional advertising community through music, as well as raising the bar for music supervision and partnerships in Asia.”
