Africa Agency Wins Heinz Account

After a global pitch, Agencia Africa has been named the agency of record for Heinz Brazil. The deal is effective as of July the 1st. With headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the H.J. Heinz Company is one of the biggest global North American companies. Famous for its products, such as Heinz ketchup and mustard, the brand is present in more than 200 countries worldwide. In addition to its iconic Heinz ketchup, Heinz Brazil has a complete line of sauces, mayonnaise, mustard and baby food in their portfolio. 

“We are honoured by the conquest. Heinz is a market leader in more than 50 countries and is a synonym of quality and excellence. I'm sure that this partnership will be a great success,” celebrates Marcio Santoro, co-president of Africa.

After the pitch, Heinz announced that it would begin to work globally with agencies from the Interpublic (IPG) – in North America – and Omnicom Groups in the rest of the world, and in Brazil the collaboration will be represented by Africa.
