999 Design Celebrates 35 Years of Award-winning Work

Leading brand agency 999 Design is celebrating its 35th anniversary – just two months after it won its 15th DBA design effectiveness award.

The full service communications agency launched in Glasgow in May 1982 with the aim of creating award winning and effective design solutions for its clients. The company opened its doors in London’s Shoreditch in 2000 and has counted international brands such as the BBC, Orange,Reebok, BT and Highland Spring among its many clients.

We have lived through incredible sea changes in the design marketplace - from the never-ending shifts in design trends to the way technology has affected the way we communicate with consumers. And we’re still going strong.”

999 will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a number of events that offer an opportunity to look back at the changing face of design over the last 35 years while looking forward to the exciting new possibilities offered by advances in technology.

Ranked in the Top 20 most effective UK design agencies in the UK, by the Design Business Association, 999 Design has grown to a 30 strong team across its Glasgow and London studios.

Last year, 999 Design joined the Equator family, bringing their unique branding experience to one of the UK’s leading agencies, and working together to highlight the creativity across Scotland and UK as a whole.

Equator, launched in 1999, is a top five creative agency that connects the worlds of brand, marketing and technology to deliver more effective experiences. Clients include AXA, Lloyds, Clydesdale Banking Group and Village Hotels.
