Leagas Delaney began in 1980 in London. It now has offices in 6 other cities – Hamburg, Milan, Prague, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. And, while much has changed in the world of communications, it still holds to the belief that our job is to create and sustain relationships on behalf of brands and that to do this takes insightful analysis, brave strategies, bold ideas and a sensitivity to the culture of the clients we work with. We have encapsulated this thinking in two ways.
SMART THINKING, BEAUTIFUL WORK – this simply says that if thinking is required it has to be better than what is currently available to a client, resulting in a fresh take on a seemingly intractable problem. The reference to beautiful work addresses the issue of campaigns now being required to go into a host of new mediums (often via different agency partners) without sufficient respect for the crafting and the consistency of the visual language. We believe that whether an idea travels around the world or across the internet, it should look at all times cared for and coherent.
ANTI-FORMULA states our intention to look at problems differently than some of the bigger, more conventional agencies. We look at each problem without any prescribed way of thinking or acting. This means that our strategic ideas are more likely to solve the specific problem the client is facing.
