Entries to The Immortal Awards are now open
The Immortal Awards is a free-to-enter awards show for all of Little Black Book’s global members.
The awards celebrate creative work that will live forever.
They launched in 2017, disrupting the traditional ad industry awards model and providing our members with an award that is free to enter, easy to enter and hard to win.
Inspired by Sir John Hegarty’s belief that creative companies rarely create more than five genuinely award-worthy pieces per office a year, The Immortal Awards only allows entrants a maximum of five entries.
The limit ensures only the very best creative work from the last year is entered and creates a democratic, level playing field for all entrants. It’s not about playing the numbers game, it’s simply about recognising the creative ideas – and the creative talent behind them – that will live forever.
Entering The Immortal Awards is easy. Simply upload your work to the LBB archive, click the awards icon to submit your entry and complete our straightforward submission form.
The Immortal Awards employs a streamlined range of categories. By removing craft, product and service subcategories, you’ll be able to submit your entry without spending hours writing complex submissions forms and navigating endless lists of subcategories.
Understanding the importance of awards in furthering the careers of creatives but recognising just how tough the industry is now, particularly financially, Little Black Book made the decision that entry should come at no extra cost to its members.
As long as your company or office is a member of Little Black Book, you’ll be able to enter the award show free of charge. Gold subscription includes five entries to The Immortal Awards, with Silver and Bronze allowing two and one respectively.
The world’s best campaigns should be judged by the world’s best creatives, which is why we put together the strongest jury that we possibly can. By avoiding bloated juries and long-winded judging weeks, we’ve assembled a first-class jury of industry icons who see judging through from online stage to live stage.
Fear not employers as, unlike most awards shows, we know how valuable (and costly) your creative leaders’ time is. Rather than taking them away from you for a week (that you pay for), we only need them for a day. A simple judging process for a simple awards show.
Whilst entering the awards is easy, winning an award is difficult - because that’s the way it should to be. The jury is under no obligation to award Commendations or Immortalise entrants, so only the very best will be taking home a prize.
We have no quotas to fill and there are no numbers games from our side. As many or as few finalists can take home our iconic skull and wings trophy, uniquely designed by artists around the world.
